An exercise in futility

What began as a monk-like meditative exercise quickly became a life-destroying obsession in proving even a few unskilled idiots could make a better game than half the shit that’s out there. After about 5000 hours of cumulative human effort we have succeeded in one thing - proving that we have too much free time.

A total conversion Mod built in a broken game

It’s no secret that DayZ, the game in which we built Home in the Zone, is almost entirely broken from the outset. Motivated by sheer spite, we created an original take on one of our favorite games - STALKER: Call of Pripyat - within it. We rebuilt a broken game into a sort of small-scale MMO as best we could. We’re probably more proud of it than we should be.
